Dahù is an internal project of Weconstudio, an e-ticketing for ski resorts system designed to eliminate waits and queues for the purchase of ski passes and start the day on the snow directly from the turnstiles of the chair lifts.

Dahu, born for the mountain. This is the slogan of the application, born precisely from the need to provide an e-ticketing system for ski resorts in the mountains. The name, on the other hand, is inspired by a legendary animal from the populations of European mountain areas.
In fact, Dahù allows skiers to buy ski passes online and go directly to the turnstile of the chair lifts, excluding to pass to ticket office.
Dahù is an integrated e-ticketing system:
- B2C purchase with preventive purchase (I buy my ski pass and then I go skiing);
- B2C with Pay Per Use system (automated payments by credit card based on what I have actually consumed);
- B2B for hotels, ski clubs, commercial activities in general which are responsible for recharging ski passes at the resort;
- CRM, for the analysis and profiling of users and the management of promotional coupons;
- full integration with ALFI and SKIDATA access control systems (real-time synchronization of rates, master data and orders);
- real-time monitoring and reporting system.
In addition, thanks to user profiling, Weconstudio’s service includes targeted marketing campaigns to reduce the gap between high and low season. Through sponsored and digital advertising activities, professionals and Sunday skiers are invited to enjoy a day on the snow even outside the Christmas holidays and during the transition period between winter and spring.
Covid-19-proof e-ticketing for ski resorts
The system is aimed at all stations that want to offer an innovative and up-to-date service. Dahù prevents skiers from having contact with each other by allowing them to distance themselves. This could be the ideal solution for the next ski season and for all those who fear Covid-19 contagion.
To date, the e-ticketing system is used by ski resorts in Italy and France and, thanks to this technology, some stations have greatly increased online sales. Compared to the data collected, some resorts have found an increase from 4% to 49% on the ski passes purchased online, on the total volume of ticket sales in a year.
From idea to development
The system was conceived by Weconstudio after an important intellectual effort of management and developers.
Thanks to the collaboration with the ski resorts, Weconstudio has engineered the entire system creation process dealing with system integration aspects:
- third party platforms (access control systems and bank connectors);
- interfacing
- reports
As far as the development of the application is concerned, Laravel PHP and Angular technologies were used.
